Emerson Keith Wins the 2023 OTB Open

Powered by his record-setting, twelve under second round, Emerson Keith took down his first Elite Series victory at the OTB Open this past Sunday.

After finding himself only four strokes under par and six strokes back of the lead after day one, Keith's second round vaulted him 21 places and gained him a spot on the final day's lead card. In round three, Aaron Gossage and Keith were trading birdies early, jostling for the lead. However, Keith ran into trouble in the middle of his round, carding three pars and a bogey from holes eight to eleven. After the round Keith said, "I kind of just blocked everything out during that round and told myself, pretend I’m the only one standing on the course right now."

He was able to finish strong and take down the win by two strokes. This win not only marks the first Elite Series win by Emerson Keith, but also the first Elite Series win for Team Lone Star Disc. Lone Star Disc President, Terry Dillard, congratulated Keith on his win saying, "Congratulations to a great guy on his win at the OTB Open presented by MVP Disc Sports. I'm proud to have you on the team."

Be on the lookout for a commemorative disc honoring Keith's outstanding win.
